About ALINA LAGOAS
 

"Alina Lagoas began her professional dance studies at the age of nine at the National Conservatory of Lisbon where she remained until entering the School of American Ballet in New York City at the age of sixteen.

Alina went on to perform as a corifée and soloist at the National Ballet of Portugal, Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo and Royal Swedish Ballet, performing in various theaters internationally. Her broad repertoire includes roles in classical ballet, neoclassical and modern pieces of some of the most accomplished choreographers of our times.

Alina Lagoas is a qualified RAD  and Alan Herdman Pilates teacher."

Prathibha Prahlad heads the Prasiddha Foundation & Forum for Arts Beyond Borders, both of which she has established into premier cultural organizations of the Country. NATIONAL YOUTH FESTIVAL OF ARTS

Indian Classical, Folk and Contemporary dance performances by the Youth Professionals of India, from 6:00 pm onwards, 11th to 13th November 2016 at the Muktadhara Auditorium, Banga Sanskrutik Sangh, Bhai Veer Singh Marg,
Near Gole Market, New Delhi.

On this Auspicious Occasion SUNAINA will be felicitating Great Gurus: Pandit Birju Maharaj, Smt Kanaka Srinivasan and
Smt Ranjana Gauhar with the Guru Samman.


Guru Sheela Unnikrishnan will be honored with the Kala Vidushi Samman.

The proprietary name given to this competition is "Dance Affairs". There will be two audition rounds and then final will happen on 13th August. The proposed dates of auditions are as follow:
First Audition - 18th June 2016 starting 9 AM. Registration will be open till 1 PM
Second Audition - 17th July 2016. Candidates selected in first round will perform in second round.
Final round - 13th August 2016 (Kamani auditorium).
Registration amount - Rs. 200/- Per performance.

Utsav’s ‘Festival of Young Dancers’ will be held on Sunday 1st May, 2016 at Kamani Auditorium. The programme, ‘SU-TARANG, 2016 – A Celebration of Odissi Dance,’ is dedicated to Swachh Bharat. Young Dancers of Utsav will present Odissi choreographies created especially for the function. Please be seated at 5:45 p.m.
