Hallo liebe Tanzbegeisterte, heute möchten wir Euch eines unserer neuen Tanzprojekte 2018 vorstellen. Diesmal führt uns unsere Reise an einen magischen Ort, nämlich in die Heimatstadt der legendären Bandoneone der Marke "AA"
Lange lag die Fabrik brach, doch heute werden in einer kleinen Manufaktur wieder hochwertige Instrumente angefertigt und alte repariert. Eine Besichtigung der Manufaktur werden wir neben dem intensiven Tangotanz natürlich auch erleben.

Wir danken allen Künstler*innen, Kompanien, Veranstalter*innen und Manager*innen, die eine Bewerbung für die internationale tanzmesse nrw 2018 eingereicht haben. Bis Februar werden wir jeden einzelnen Vorschlag sorgfältig prüfen. Das Programm-Team freut sich darauf, für den kommenden Sommer ein aktuelles und globales Programm zu gestalten. Die künstlerische Qualität der Beiträge ist bei der Auswahl nach wie vor wichtigstes Kriterium. Daneben soll den verschiedenen Weltregionen ebenso Rechnung getragen werden wie der großen Vielfalt im zeitgenössischen Tanz. Falls Sie Fragen, Ideen oder Vorschläge haben, kontaktieren Sie uns jederzeit gerne. Wir freuen uns über Ihr Feedback! Wir freuen uns daher, 2018 mit einer zweiten Ausgabe an den Start zu gehen: Erneut stehen bei der internationalen tanzmesse nrw aktuelle Debatten, Panels und Workshops für professionelle Tanzschaffende auf dem Programm. Wir sammeln dazu noch Themenvorschläge. Worüber würden Sie gerne mit Ihren Kolleg*innen aus aller Welt reden und diskutieren? Welche Probleme, Ideen und Möglichkeiten begegnen Ihnen im Berufsalltag? Was sind Ihre Visionen für die Zukunft des zeitgenössischen Tanzes? Egal, ob es dabei um Produktionsbedingungen, Arbeitsstrukturen oder gesellschaftliche Fragestellungen geht: Schicken Sie uns Ihre T-Talks-Vorschläge bis zum 19. Februar 2018.

To increase sustainable networking and international promotion of German contemporary dance, two support models have been launched two years ago:
> The NPN Coproduction Fund for Dance advances the creation of new dance productions. The artists’ origins are irrelevant; however, production must take place in Germany to a substantial degree. The involvement of international partners as co-producers increases the chances for support, but is not absolutely necessary. The funds can lie between 10.000 and 50.000 EUR and no more than 50 % of the productions costs.
> The NPN International Guest Performance Fund for Dance supports international programmers, when they invite productions that were created in Germany while offering certain minimal wages that are based on standard NPN rates. The ones eligible to apply are the invited companies/ invited artists based in Germany. The categorization into three different country groups regulates the respective levels of support.

28th International Competition for Choreographers Hanover 2014

Since 28 years the Ballett Gesellschaft Hannover organize the International Competition for Choreographers Hanover. This competition estimated within the last years as an important event in the national and international dance scene. The internationality of the both sides, the participating choreographers and the jury shows the high international ranking of this unique competition in Germany. We are proud receiving the following statement: "This is the most interesting, well organised, progressive choreographic competition in central europe with an international reputation. It is a privilege to have been part of this renowned competition, a platform of artistic exchanges. The support of the Ballett Gesellschaft Hannover for the world of dance is paramount!" Richard Wherlock, Director Ballet Basel.
These are the competition guidelines:
All participants, choreographers and dancers, ought to have professional training.
Choreographers must be 35 or younger. The competition is open to any kind of style. Evaluation is based exclusively on imaginative use of space and time, the realisation of an idea, and its transfer onto the performers.
The duration of the performance, have to be between 5 and 12 minutes. A solo-ballet may not be interpreted by the choreographer him/herself.
The applicant is free in his choice of subject and music. A PAL-DVD (Video) of the choreographic work must be delivered to the organisers. The DVD may only contain the choreography to be performed in the competition. Alternatively is a video/Internet-link possible.
A prejury will select a maximum of 20 the submitted works, which will enter the contest. The artistic director of the jury is Ed Wubbe, director of Scapino Ballett Rotterdam.

Scapino Production Award
Since 2005 Ed Wubbe, the artistic director of the competition, awards the Scapino production award. The award includes the development of an unique choreography with dancers from Scapino Ballet and the presentation in the series TWOOLS.
Since 2012: Production Award Bundesjugendballett
The Bundesjugendballett was founded by John Neumeier in 2011. Since 2012 the Bundesjugendballett also sponsors a production award. Part of the award is the development of a choreography with the Bundesjugendballett.
NEW: Production Award Gauthier Dance/Theaterhaus Stuttgart
In 2014 Eric Gauthier for the first time will award the Production Award Gauthier Dance. Gauthier Dance was founded in 2007. Eric Gauthier has been awarded the German Dance Prize »Future« 2011 for choreography and the Theatre Award "Der Faust."
